The convergence of art, science and technology provided the artists with an oppertunity to challenge production of art and its funtion in the society. The arts and the sciences are two great engines driving the world force. Art is the source of creativity and science codified as set of segregated processes, by which these two can be speculated as religion and truth. Artist have begun to engage the concepts, tools and contexts of scientific and technological research to do provocative and intriguing works. Artists trying to assimilate the new found technologies to traditional artistic media is making the impossibility of understanding the future of the arts. This very notion of change brought us to a place where now it has became difficult to distinguish between scientific research and art. The artist's work itself sometimes functions as research into the new capabilities of the technology.
Taking this perspective into mind, digimedium tries to form a platform for the artists to display their own art works and to meet other artists around and get a chance to view and exchnage information. Digimedium welcomes every artist with their creative works on to its platform.
